This CD presents some songs by the renowned Indian Sufi master
Hazrat Shah Manzoor Alam, interpreted by the singer Mohan,
accompanied by tabla, harmonium and Indian wind instruments. On the
CD sleeve are the lyrics in Purbi, the language in which they are
sung, and their English and Portuguese translations.
Important observation: Due to some of the technical limitations of
the original recordings made in India, the tracks on this CD contain
some noise, which was not removed during the digitalization process
so that some of the freshness of the interpretations would not be
lost. This fact, however, is fully compensated by the originality,
beauty and rareness of these recordings.
